What a pleasant surprise. I’m not familiar with this band’s debut record from a couple of years ago, but if this record is any indication it is at least a curiosity worth seeking out. Italy has always had a knack for the theatrical, and this band is no different in that regard. Atmosphere, so often lacking in modern extreme metal albums, is something that oozes from every pore of this record. ...
I had some material done already before the demise of Lord Belial. Some of the material was actually intended for the next Lord Belial album, but since we disbanded I changed around all of the ideas into new songs.
French Loudblast will release their new album, "Frozen Moments Between Life And Death", on April 18 via XIII Bis Records. Album will be distributed by Warner. "Frozen Moments Between Life And Death" was recorded over a five-week period and was mixed by producer Peter Tagtgren at Abyss Studio in Parlby, Sweden.
